The 2T is TINY, more like a 12 mo. 4T is like a 2T, the 5/6 is truer to size. Shirts are thin & okay for embroidery if your not doing dense stitches. Use extra stabilizer, b/c they really stretch. Love the cut & lettuce edge for girls, just wish the quality & size were better.

Love these shirts but they run VERY small. My daughter usally wears a 2T (sometimes a 3T) so to be safe I bought her a 4T in the black, after I washed and dried it, it fit her perfect...but without the review I would have never purchased her a 4T. Overall I would buy it again, because they work great for my crafting.

I wish I had known before ordering that these shirts run SMALL!
I ordered size 2t and they fit more like a 12-18 months.
These shirts are also a little thin but still good for embroidery.
Hopefully this will help someone else when ordering to order a size bigger.
